Where is the fundraised money going?
The money goes directly to the United Nations where it is going to go towards funding educational and empowerment opportunities for girls in countries like Libya, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Our goal is to specifically help send refugee girls in Ethiopia and Uganda to school. :)
Why is it called the "global" 5k?
This run is hosted by almost all Girl Up clubs around the world! We are running together for a global issue.
How do I contact the people organizing the run?
